Why you need to set up Google Analytics now

Historical analytics data will be lost from July

Google's outgoing version of analytics, known as Universal Analytics  (or just UA for short) will be retired in July 2023. This means without making changes your website tracking code, you may longer be able to see how well your website and digital marketing is performing.

Getting your website setup with GA4 now will mean you have access to continual data and have time to get used to the new metrics and reports provided by GA4.
